Use fluorescent oil dye (buy from GM dealer parts department) install in
engine oil.  Drive for a while.  Have the dealer look at the leak with
their high-powered black light.  If it is coming from the engine it will
glow bright yellow - if the leak is coming from the tranny, the leak
will not fluoresce and will appear dark under the black light.  They can
also easily check the whole engine for other leaks at this time.
