The deed is done. I dumped it this morning. I really wanted to keep the
crank but I couldn't get
the damn nut off. After slipping twice and nearly rupturing myself I gave
up. My only consolation
was that it was pretty miserable looking where the big end had
disintegrated.
Anyway, its gone and it didn't cost me anything!
