Thanks, Jim, Jeff and Alan,

The steering wheel thread problem was solved with a thread file.  Never
knew of such a thing until you told me.  Ground down the thread on the
shaft for 10 minutes, and now the nut goes on perfectly.

The Bugeye restoration goes on one thread at a time, but I can almost smell
the day when I fire her up. Thanks again,
