Hi all,

Here's the report on day two of the trek by Reid Trummel and Stu Johnson in
the 100-M. This mornings departure from Winnemucca, Nevada was delayed by
a flat left front tire. The hole in the tube was repaired by the OK Tire
Store for the princely sum of $9.00. All in all, it wasn't a bad deal
considering that the temp at sunrise was 31 degrees F! The extra time gave
the sun a chance to warm things up a bit.

Things were fine until mid day when the same tire went flat again, outside
Nampa, Idaho. This time the spare was used to make it into town where a
new tube was found and installed.

Even with the delays caused by the tires, they made it to Boise in time for
Stu to catch a plane back to San Francisco. Ried pressed on to McCall,
Idaho where he is now out is search of nachos and beer!

Mechanically, the car is running great! Oil is running around 55psi and
the coolant temp is normal, even at 70 MPH.

Reid notes that the car draws positive comments at every stop. This, is
spite of the fact that it is in dire need of a paint job and new interior!
These cars really do strike a chord with people!

Today's weather was a little better. Not much rain, mostly big clouds and
blue skies.

Tomorrow, it's on to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, the final stop.

Cheers,
Mark
