I've got the usual split dash top syndrome from too much exposer to Mr. Sun with the top down on my '74 Midget and was noticing that both Vic Brit and Moss both have dash overlays that are supposed to do a nice job of restoring the dash. Do these companies have a monopoly on this concept? Is it possible to (EASILY) re-do the dash (TOP ONLY) with some black vinyl, or is the repair kit a necessity? My cheapness shines through again, but to pay $50+ seems like too much. Any tips? Thanks much, Richard '74 Fire-engine-red Midget |
