I read somewhere that the Healeys designed a complete (front and rear) Sprite Mk II that had essentially the front pieces we have now, but the rear was much curvier and did not have the seam at the quarter panel crest. Apparently there was a one-off built, but the MG-designed square rear won out. Is there truth to this story, and if so, does the car exist, and if so, where and does anyone have photos or know where to get photos? Just curious, Jeff ____________________________________________________________ Jeff Boatright Sprite MkIII >-Safety Fast!-> __@_\__ http://userwww.service.emory.edu/~jboatri/sprite/sprite.html |
