"Good old days..."

The good old days....  Those were the days when a poor sailor could
drive his Frogeye to Stuttgart, Arkansas, take the windshield off, and
go SCCA sports car racing with only a toolbox and a couple of friends
for support.  And have a good time with the guys in the next pit--Jim
Hall and Dr. Dick Thompson--who came complete with parts trailers for
their Corvettes, and were picked up after the races by the Gulf Oil
Corporate plane.
