[Spits] Spitfire speaker - original location??

Hello - I have a 78 Spitfire in the final stages of reconstruction.  I have
new parcel shelves to install, and I believe the single speaker came from the
right parcel shelf.  How is that installed? Do I have to cut a hole in the
back of the parcel shelf to make room?  How was it done originally?
