OT - Looking for information on an antique car company

I have a friend who's looking for a car or information about the cars
from a very rare prewar company.  The company is called Wimbush-Gates.
It was a company started by Wimbush, a Denver millionaire (Who's mansion
my friend just bought), and Gates of the rubber company fame.  It was a
short lived company in Denver.  Do any of you know anyone that might be
able to help him?
