Quickie battery poll

1. How high is your battery?(inches/cm)
2. Does your hood close nicely?
3. Do you have the battery hold-down clamps installed?

Reading on totallytriumph, I believe the tail end of my hood woes might be 
attributed to a too-high battery.

Mine's an exide battery of unknown height, but I'm going to do an experiment. 
1. remove battery 2. try to close hood & see what happens.
