MK1 convertible top mounts

Hello all.

I'm adding MK1 convertible top frame mounting posts to a MK2 body.  I have
the mounts (thanks Joe), but am not sure at what elevation and angle they
should be installed - I assume they are vertically aligned?

If someone has a measurement or photo I'd appreciate it.
