I forgot to mention, I don't know how the OD knob comes off the shifter. I don't want to break anything, which is another reason I'm leaving the single rail trans, OD and shifter intact. I assume you insert a screw driver, in the tab slot and pry off the plastic switch plate. Do you unsrew the knob while holding the lock nut?, with a wrench? Are pins or set screws involved? Larry |
