Has anyone looked at the mustang II front ends offered by Heidt and others and thought it would be a good idea for Spitfires, if it didn't cost as much as a Spifire? I called the salvage yards near me and none had any Pinto or Mustang II fronts. The tube a-arms look much better but work the same, don't they? How skilled do you have to be, to weld up some a-arms? I guess lack of a lower ball joint isn't a great loss for Spitfires or someone would be all over this. Larry |
