Anyone got any opinions on changing to an electric fan?
So far Ive come to the following conclusions - correct me if Im wrong:
PROS:
Quieter
More power (well some)
Quicker warm up in the winter
Should stay cooler in the summer (maybe?)
CONS:
More likley to go bang (I guess I could keep the old fan in the boot)
Any UK listers used any specific fans from cars? (give me a headstart for
what to look for at the scrappy (sorry, salvage merchants or whatever they
call themselves... - I have a posh one that does MOTs near me too))
