For those of you that might remember Henry wrecked his
spit a little over a year ago when the right rear
u-joint locked up and it spun into a guardrail rear
first then came around and hit it again with the nose.
He has been working on rebuilding it all summer
vacation from college. Starting with the frame he got
from Stefan Roundy he has built it from frame up.
Since the tub was from a 76 and frame was 79 a lot of
front end work was done to use chrome bumpers instead
of the rubber ones.
So now it is a cross between a 76 and 79 :-)
After getting it painted with 6 coats of pimento red
and the wheels blasted (thanks Larry Elswick), it is
almost finished. He still has some electrical work and
some interior work to do. It won't be ready to take
with him to Eastern Kentucky University tomorrow, but
soon. Maybe by Sept 4 which will be his 20th birthday.
He hopes to have his web site fixed with new pics and
stuff is a couple of weeks to share.
