Oh, the great Lord Lucas has truly had his evil way with your cars
electrics! First the mysterious horn problem, now this!

If you remove the cowling around your steering column, you should be able to
see how the self-correcting mechanism should work. There will be a clip on
the steering column (which you should be able to move, to ensure the
indicators correct at the right steering wheel angle), which will contact
one or other of some plastic arms that move inwards towards the column when
the indicator is turned on.

You may need to do some adjustments to make everything line up better, or
you may have lost one of your plastic arms - in which case you either get a
new (or used) indicator switch unit, or you keep correcting the indicator
yourself!

Richard & Daffy (sitting here waiting for your next electrical gremlin!)
