Hi, I am getting ready to replace the bushings on the steering rack of my 80 Spitfire hopefully it will help cure a slight shake I get in the steering wheel sometimes. (The rest of the front end has been rebuilt , wheels balanced and aligned). Does the rack have to come out to replace the bushings or can I disconect the inner tie rod and slide them on? How tricky is this? Thanks, Roger Elliott /// spitfires@autox.team.net mailing list /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool |
