I just checked with the metal finishers, they said the Spit body would
cost $300 to $375 depending on size. In Cincinnati there is a one
year waiting list for dipping auto bodies. However, due to the small
size of the Spitfire, there is no waiting list. In my case I plan to
use a fiberglass bonnet so that puts me even further ahead of the line
of work to be dipped. They said if the body is 10' or less the car
would qualify for immediate processing (meaning probably 3 weeks).
