Vendor bashing isn't really my scene I'm afraid. Both the companies I was
thinking of are smaller UK companies - they charge extortionate prices on
secondhand components, and one in particular charged an unsuspecting person
over 10,000 for a Vitesse restoration which was not roadworthy at the end of
it. The workmanship was truly dreadful, and the matter ended up in court!
That company has since closed down for business, but recently began trading
once more under another name! This is why I always recommend Club membership
to anyone looking for vendors for this kind of work - local members will
always advise on who can be relied on.
        Cheers,
                Bill.
