Joe,  I'm in the middle of trying to get to the track but saw this note and
wanted to caution - when installing cam bearing in engines originally
without - chamfer the leading edge of the hole to provide a lead-in for the
soft bearing.  Also, you can have 1500 cams reground to fit.
