The message I am replying to is what is known as a virus hoax. This is a
very old one and I am surprised it is still being sent around. Virus hoaxs
are used to create panic and MASS emailings (which this one has done) these
mass emailings are possibly more damaging than some viruses. Keep in mind
any message that has someone stating that "Microsoft (or insert your
favorite bigwig company name here) has verified..." These companies do not
operate this way, exactly who at Microsoft has stated this? I encourage you
not to forward these emails and to check a virus hoax site, (do a search
there are plenty of them). We appreciate the effort.
