Hi Patrick
        You asked

I'd say your estimate of 15 minutes might be a bit of an exageration.
Last year
I had my frame etc, done here in Canada. I had it all sandbasted, everything
stripped
off it, and delivered to the painter. He undercoated it, (was it etch, primer
or what?)
painted it with some kind of hard tough black paint, plus did the axles, rear
hubs,
front hubs and rotors, back plates, front spring and shock assy, each leaf of
the rear
spring, diff, and repaired the front torsion bar mount and a rear emergency
brake guide.
Cost me $350. Only problem was I had to take everything back again, as he let
his
night time moonlighter paint it and me missed *a lot*. However he did it
again, and it
looks good now.
        I'd say $600 is crazy.
Cheers, Fred
