Carter,

Consolided (CCX, CSE, CSW,...) always seems to give very good pricing.
Also, you need, if possible, to it sent to a business (your work, friends
job, etc) Freight companies do not like to ship residential and generally
charge a fortune to discourage it. Plus, since freight is so competitive,
they generally give huge discounts to businesses to encourage loyalty.

Fellow Spitfire Listers,
I need your help. I must arrange shipping of a hardtop
from Kansas City to Orlando. It's crated, ready to go.

Anyone who has shipped one of these, what carrier did
you use, and how much did it cost?

For the money one carrier quoted, I could buy an
airline ticket for the top and fly it here.
(wheelchair to ramp B, for passenger Hardtop)

I'm not in a hurry to get the top (I've got more time
than money).

Any advice or suggestion is appreciated.

Thanks,

Carter Shore
