Awhile back I inquired about The rectangular dash warning lights used for
various things in later TR's, GT6's and Spitfire, like EGR? catalyst,
hazards, brake, etc. The reason was that I wanted to make a different
warning, using the same housing. Several listers mentioned that the lens
just popped out and the lettering could be replaced. After I did this on
one of my originals, I thought great, I'll order a few and just make what I
want. I just received one of the new replacements, and while it appears
outwardly the same (or similar) it DOESN'T snap apart. So I'm back where I
started. Does anybody have a couple (I need two) of these indicator lamps
that they would be willing to part with? I'll pay for them (provided you
don't want an arm and a leg, new ones are about $5 I believe).
