While I'm probably not the Andy you were refering to, yes they did start
using the same lights and seats in the Spits at the same time. As a
result the 70 GT6/Spitfires have a strange backup light, Nice highback
reclining seats, and impossible to find tail lamps (Luckily you can
substitute earlier Spit/GT6 tail lamps)
