Hi everyone. I'm finally getting close to finishing my '75 spit ( it's
at the body shop for painting). I thought the bumpers were in OK
condition, and just needed some cleaning. On closer inspection, I
realize they are not that great. The front bumper was dented at some
point and repaired with a hammer so it has many dimples. The chrome on
both the rear and front is quite pitted.
Has anyone had their bumpers's re-chromed? About how much does this
cost? Also, does anybody have an OK front bumper for sale?
After all this work (and money!) I hate to have the car spoiled by ugly
bumpers.
