I have been looking at this, and they Hayns Spitfire Herold Vitt and GT6 restoration book shows a Spitfire with Lucas mechanical fule injection. I have looked at developing my own sustem, the only major problem is the inlet manofold, and oxygen sensors, and crank position sensor. I can write the software and develop the electronics quite easly, even make my own plasma ignition system. Having said that a Super charger is cheaper and more effective, and what I will go for. |
