'77 Spit-Take a look at this bracket... recognize it?

So when you rebuild something it probably isn't good to have leftover
parts, eh?

I have two of these brackets remaining from my rebuild project but I
don't have a clue what they are for. Plus, one may have come with the
"new" motor. This was a "basket case" too people, not just a matter of
me being senile! :)
