1500 engine

What is a spitfire 1500cc engine worth?  
I have one from a '76 and am not going to need it.
I do not know if it works which might be a problem If I go to sell it but
I do have all the pheripherals (air pump, alternator, water pump, fan,
radiator, etc..)  so when you have seen (or sold) a comparable motor, what
has it gone for?
