Bill, head for a place that sells upholstery materials and fabrics. The hog
rings are used on furniture as well.
You may be dismayed at the price of the pliers. If they don't have the
really cheap version, they will offer a professional version at a lot of
bucks. I made my own from channel lock pliers. I just ground out a groove on
the plier's face to hold the ring. That worked just fine for the pair of
seats on my Spit.
