Compression

Thanks everyone for the help on the compression.  I drove out to look at the
car with my handy dandy compression guage in hand but it was no help.  When I
tried to jump start the car all I got was a grinding sound from the starter,
not good.  So, I was obviously not able to use all the great advise you all
gave me.  Anyway, I offered him $350 for the car (asking $500) and he said he
would call me after he thought about it.
