I recently replaced my 10 year old non-working hearing airs for some new wh=
izz=20
bang ones. I=E2=80=99ve reduced my =E2=80=9CHUH?=E2=80=9D responses by at l=
east 40 percent. The rest=20
my wife attributes to me being hard of listening instead of hard of hearing=
=2E =20
ANYWAY
The new units are blue tooth compatible. My Sony flat screen is also blue=
=20
tooth compatible and I tried to pair the two so I can hear the tv through m=
y=20
hearing airs =E2=80=A6Cool, right??
The TV sees the hearing aids under it's list of blue tooth devices but t=
hey won=E2=80=99t pair up with some cryptic sony code $#^%& or something si=
miliar. I checked the specs and both accept the same blue tooth =E2=80=98p=
rotocol=E2=80=99 (I don=E2=80=99t know the right word) all the letters con=
fuse me. But, they both use A2DP=E2=80=A6 but they won=E2=80=99t pair.
Another similar spec is the blue tooth version one is 4.2 the other is 4.=
2.2. Shouldn=E2=80=99t the newer one grandfather the older ??

Any enlightenment will be appreciated=E2=80=A6 and guidance is needed sever=
ely. forum content... I watch shop videos on YouTube a lot.
