FWIW, I am a big fan of motion sensors in the shop but have had the same =
problem with the lights going out when I=E2=80=99m doing something that =
doesn=E2=80=99t trigger the sensor. My patch was to put a smart bulb in =
wall plug fixture. When I get caught in the dark I just ask Alexa to =
"turn on the backup light.=E2=80=9D That is just a patch because I am =
too cheap to replace a perfectly good switch; I will eventually put in a =
smart motion sensor switch and that should solve all my needs.
