See if you can find a 12TPI thread file. You start filing where the threads a=
re mostly good & keep filing over the damaged threads until you reach the en=
d. If you want to, you can then run a standard 12-24 die onto it afterwards.=

ng threads.   I see they make adjustable dies on the net... can I use that t=
