John - You may have a dust problem.  Remove the power cord and open the 
computer.  Take a shop vac that blows or some compressed air and clean 
things out.  It is best to do this outside.

If you are comfortable doing so, you might want to remove and re-seat 
each memory module.  Ground yourself with the case first to avoid any 
static discharge.  Jiggle the various connectors to to the mother board 
to make sure all are seated.  Only do these steps if you are comfortable 
inside the computer.
