we named my s-i-ls unit "Eleanor" from Gone in 60 Seconds.
based on what I hear.... they are all pretty fair/sometimes dumb/handy
units...
gonna check out Garmin Nuvis and the Tom-Toms tonite and compare ... the free
map upgrade might tip the scales

I bought one from Buy.com for under 100. What I learned that Buy.com
doesn't publish bad reviews but Amazon does. What I like about mine
is that the GPS lady has an accent. "Turn rice".
