While what you are suggesting is understandable and intriguing, Im not sure
it is legal.
If the system is unattended, an innocent person or animal might get hurt.
Years ago I hear of a man that rigged a shotgun up to the door of a shed.
While this is most likely an urban legend, as the story goes it did not go
well for the owner when an intruder was shot as he opened the door.
