The amateur radio world is filled with relatively cheap supplies
that do 30A @ 13.8V all day long - that's about what's needed for
the typical 100W HF rig.

You can choose a traditional linear like the Astron RS series,
a switcher like Alinco DM-330MV, or one of the new "supercapacitor"
supplies that are good for peaks but not constant output.

Lots of types to choose from, and lots of price points, too. Check
out the online places like http://www.randl.com/ and
http://www.universal-radio.com/

You should be able to find used/surplus, depending on where you live.
