Steve,

Been there. I had squirrels chew through the condensate drain line on my
attic-mounted A/C. The water dripped through the light fixtures and vent
fan in the bath and light fixtures in the hallway. We caught it right
away and it didn't cause any damage that needed repair -- except to the
drain line, which was exposed.

In dry times some animals can smell the water and do their best to get
to it. We had a couple of holes that had to be closed up to keep the
squirrels out, plus a live trap to be sure we had all the entrances
closed up.

Peace,
Pat
