I ran across a new fastener that is pretty cool this past fall during a project - it is a removable speed nut used for holding a piece of equipment into a panel from the back. Pushes down over a stud for fast installation but is removable by squeezing the sides. They are called Tinerman Palnuts, and I now have a nice stock in my toolbox.
