I don't have one of the body saws, but I do have a plasma cutter...

What I'd suggest, assuming a plasma cutter is out, is some cutting blades
in a 4" or 4.5" electric right angle grinder.  Cuts pretty quickly, easy
to control, ends up looking good, etc.
