Allen,
Ford pretty much stopped all publication of their TSB and recall data on
enthusiast sites. I have had a couple Explorers and Expeditions over the
years and used to be able to get a wealth of info from current and past Ford
guys on forums. Then, when Ford got serious about their web presence and
figured out they could sell the data, all the free stuff mostly went away.
A way to get the data you want is to become very friendly with someone in
the service department at a Ford store. All of the service data, parts
lists, flat rate data, body shop info and such , is delivered to the
dealership via DVD and CD-Rom media, usually once a month. So there are
several opportunities to acquire what you need. Maybe there might be
usegroups somewhere that have already acquired the info and have it
available. But it is under copyright and Ford is about as aggressive on that
as any major company. I do not think there is would be any problem using an
old DVD or cd for your own purposes.
Good luck,
Michael Lowe
