what sized string are you using ???
I've got a 20 year old Yazoo trimmer 35 cc... straight shaft and I use
.130 string... it last forever unless you find something sharp enough to
cut it... Find a universal head to fit your Ryobi and put in the eyelets
for larger string... should make a large difference... but keep it off your
leg !!!
