Mike, Permatex, or Loctite or one of those companies has something that
will help you fix those threads.  The product can be found a well
equipped auto parts store.  There is plenty of information on the
packaging to give you all the strength info you need, but I'm certain it
will surely work for pan bolts.

Basically you squirt compound "A" down the hole, then coat one of your
bolts with compound "B".  Compound A will stick to the block, compound B
is a release agent for the bolt.  After both compounds have been applied
you screw the bolt in the block and wait.  Remove the bolt and you're
done.
