I have seen a tube of porcelain repair "stuff" at a hardware store. Basically
a glue specially made to repair cracks in toilets and sinks, etc.
I've also had good luck repairing a crack in the bottom of a tank with silicone
aquarium sealer. I dried the part real well, clean it up, cleaned again with
alcohol, and then spread a layer of the aquarium sealer over the crack. Never
leaked again. 8-) Probably not the best way, but it did work...

ok, here's a "good" question for the shop talk group. I've got a small
leak in the water tank for an OLD toilet. When I took it off, removed
hardware and cleaned it up (getting ready to JBWeld the crack) I found
6-7 more hairline cracks going every different way.
1) Anyone know where I can buy a replacement- the type that use enough
water to work in an old house. or
2) Anyone know of someone who repairs these really well, or
3) Anyone have any experience in just JBWelding everything I can find
and then hoping I don't wake up some morning with a flooded house?
