Yes, but probably not legal.

If you have gauges, evacuate into a large jug of water. Not sure if it does 
anything to alleviate the "pollution" problem, but it will cut down on the 
cloud of gas.

Legal blah bah blah in this spot.

<< Is there any way a "do-it-yourselfer" can evacuate Freon R12?
 
 I find I must remove my radiator,trans cooler, AC condenser.  Everything is 
 hanging there right now with the AC lines connected.
 
 Suggestions?
 
 The car is not driveable.   : - (
