Hi folks,
I'm thinking seriously about expanding my garage from it's current 1-car bay
to a large 2 or 2 1/2 car bay with one large door. It's not a simple expansion
since the current garage is below a bedroom. I'll probably need a couple of
steel I-beams or engineered lumber to support the existing structure and provide
strength for the long span over the door. Does anyone have any contractor
recommendations
for work of this type?
I live in Herndon, VA if that makes a difference.
