Hey guys,

Thanks for the recommendations on the plasma and spot weld cutters.  It turns
out the ones I saw locally were the Thermal Dynamics machines:
        Dragun 38        $850
        Pakmaster 25    $1050
        Pakmaster 38XL  $1150
The Dragun is self-contained (needs no air), but has less cutting capacity.
The Pakmasters both require external air, but can cut through thicker metal
(the 38XL marginally more than the 25).  However, I am under the impression
that the 38XL is no longer a current model.

Conveniently enough, I saw a used Snap-on plasma cutter in local classifieds
as well, which I am going to check out this weekend.  I'll keep you all posted.
