Interesting, I have one at home and its a Porter-Cable, model 7700.
I haven't seen the delta (or the one on The New Yankee Workshop).
Works like a champ.  Justified it to the better half when I was
doing a pet project for her.  Its not just easier to use but safer too.
Never had a temptation to lower the blade down to line up the cut.
The laser slides left to right to line up with the left or right of
the blade.
