My .02 on Mobil 1.
About a month ago on a test and tune night at the local track I made two
passes back to back and went 7.30 @ 95.10 in the 1/8 mile
I then changed my oil (was Castrol 10W-30 w/ a bottle of STP) to Mobil 1
10W-30 and a bottle of STP. I made no other changes and the next two
passes were 7.242 and 7.239 both @ 95.26. The air temp dropped 1 deg from
start to final pass.
BTW, the car is a 69 Mustang Fastback with a 351-W stroked to 383, small
roller cam, 12.5:1 comp, C-6 3500 stall, 4.56 gear, weighs 3450 w/driver .
No bottle or blower.
